Dr. Nielsen is an Anesthesiologist that has been specializing in taking care of plastic surgery patient’s needs for over 10 years. He trained at the University of Southern California and is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. After residency he moved to Northern California and has made it his home. He has taken a special interest in volunteering his time for cleft lip and palate trips in third world countries. In 2009 he became the Medical Director of the San Francisco Rejuvenation Center. In his free time he loves to travel, kite surf and mountain bike.

Dr. Lavee received his BA in Medical Illustration from UC Berkeley, and attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. His residency was at UC San Francisco, and included two years of General Surgery prior to his training in Anesthesia. He has a fellowship in outpatient anesthesia (UCSF), and has had extensive (over 20 years) experience in various hospitals and surgery centers in the SF Bay Area. Dr. Lavee has numerous hobbies and interests, including metal sculpture, oil and watercolor painting, piano, photography, travel, biking, and swimming.
