Fifth Annual Beauty for Books Recap

The Maas ClinicTM celebrated the spirit of the holiday season by once again supplementing the illiteracy initiatives of public schools for thousands of students in the Bay Area. On November 29, clinic patients, friends, and family donated books, then were invited to draw a price from The Maas ClinicTM/Appearance Care CenterTM stocking, full of all sorts of treats- no one was left frowning! Corey S. Maas MDTM summed up the program: “One of the biggest correctable challenges in this country is literacy and the Beauty for Books program is a way I can contribute to addressing this challenge. We love the smiles on the faces of a child and their teachers when they receive their own books.”
