About Dr. Anya Bandt

Dr. Bandt is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained in dermatologic skin cancer treatment, Mohs skin cancer surgery, and anti-aging medicine. She is an authority in restoring balance, health, and youthful energy to her patients at The Maas Clinic. Passionate about providing personalized care, Dr. Bandt’s goal is to help patients achieve the highest quality and healthiest life that modern medicine can provide. She focuses on reversing signs of aging to help her patients look and feel as vital as possible.

Education and Training

Dr. Bandt earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She went on to attend medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Following this, she completed her internship in internal medicine with an emphasis on surgery at Harbor-UCLA.

During her dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital, Dr. Bandt was appointed Chief Resident. She then became board-certified in dermatology and completed a fellowship in Mohs surgery for skin cancer, cosmetic, and laser surgery.

Specialized Expertise

After completing her dermatology training, Dr. Bandt pursued a fellowship in Anti-Aging Medicine with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She continues to advance her knowledge by attending anti-aging conferences and bringing the most innovative treatments to her patients.

Professional Affiliations and Volunteer Work

Dr. Bandt is an active member of multiple international, national, and local medical societies. She has also served as a volunteer instructor for Health Volunteers Overseas and at UCSF, sharing her expertise with other medical professionals.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Bandt enjoys music, dance, and sailing. She is also a proud mother of three children, with her oldest currently attending college.
